DASAL Aviation Technologies enhanced its influence in the Far East defense market by signing a strategic agreement with Malaysia’s defense giant PM Defence during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition LIMA 2025.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Altınay Defense Technologies, DASAL took a major step this year by expanding the scope of the goodwill agreement it signed with PM Defence last year. The agreement was signed with the participation of Malaysia’s Minister of Defence, Mohamed Khaled Bin Nordin.
Murat Koç, General Manager of DASAL Aviation Technologies, stated, “We have taken an important step towards boosting Turkey’s export potential and delivering high-tech solutions to friendly nations,” emphasizing that this cooperation will also contribute to regional development.
DASAL, known for its mini, light, medium, and heavy-class rotary-wing UAV solutions, aims to further expand its product range and operational reach in the region through this collaboration. Based in Malaysia, PM Defence is a prominent defense company specializing in UAV systems, integrated surveillance solutions, and tactical equipment.
Dato’ HJ Bastien Bin Onn, Chairman of the Board at PM Defence, noted, “This partnership not only enhances defense collaboration but also strengthens the bonds of friendship between Turkey and Malaysia.”
At LIMA 2025, DASAL attracted significant attention by showcasing its advanced UAV products Peregrine-X4M, Peregrine-X4L, Kırlangıç-X4A, and Falcon-MD60 at PM Defence’s stand. These products are capable of performing reconnaissance, surveillance, logistics support, and resilience missions.
DASAL aims to expand its international defense partnerships beyond Malaysia, by developing export and contact points in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Turkic Republics, reinforcing its global outreach in the UAV sector.
